Google Screenshare

Google makes it possible to share your screen with your Google contacts by using a Google call or hangout. Select the screenshare button on the lefthand side of the window to display your screen to the contacts you are chatting with. They will be able to view your desktop and the actions you are making. The contact will not be able to control your screen, but they will be able to communicate with you about what is appearing on your screen.

Users can select the function they would like to change and the website they would like to change it on. The website then launches a new browser with and directs the user on how to complete the desired task.

Burn Note

App: Burn Note

Teachers beware! This app allows users to send self-destructing text messages. The function is intended for surprise parties or other fun secrets. I could also see students using it to cheat the system and avoid evidence of cheating. It is a great app, if used in the right context.

Classmate Communication

App: StudyBlue

Students can use this app to connect with other students within the same course. It can be used as a planner and collaboration tool for learning. Teachers and students can set up their classes and add current classes to their schedule. This would be a great resource for homework help and backchannel learning.
