The 3D animated step will have your students tying neckties in NO time! Each step is easy to follow and with visual and written directions. Students can repeat the animation at their own speed. The app shows 12 types of knots for ties. This is a great app for students preparing for business interviews.

Learn about the triumphs and tools that this technology-friendly teacher is using with her Kindergarteners and First Graders. Ms. Jennifer features websites that correlate with her weekly teachings and a tab for her students to gain access to independent learning games. This would be a great example of using blogs for future teachers in elementary education!

App Name: Brainscape
I have featured digital flashcard applications before, but this one takes the idea to a new level. Students can use Brainscapes ready-made flash cards or make their own. When the student finishes the card, the student rates the card on a scale of 1-5 of their knowledge. A low rating will keep the card in circulation, but a high rating will allow new content to be introduced.
